It's very charming, but handle it with care because it's slender (I'm guessing 0.8),and that could lead to your piercing closing up. It appears to be made of steel, although the decorative part is surrounded by a different metal, so I wouldn't expose it to water.

It's basically for the nose, but I wear it in my ears without any problem.
